The 2007 Ramsgate Carnival took place on July 29th, and was
a great success.
Carnival 2008 will be on Sunday 27th
July
JERSEY BATTLE OF FLOWERS
Miss Ramsgate on a float during the Battle of Flowers in Jersey.

CINQUE PORT SPEAKERS CYCLE RIDE
During the Easter weekend the Speaker of the
Cinque Ports performed a sponsored cycle ride from Faversham to
Hastings, visiting all of the Cinque Ports on the way.
In Ramsgate he was greeted by the Mayor and Mayoress
acompanied by the Ramsgate Carnival Court.
EASTER EGG HUNT
On Maunday Thursday Miss Ramsgate Molly Walsh
accompanied by Princess Megan Duddy joined the Mayor in
Ramsgate town centre to assist in the annual Easter egg hunt.
SELECTION DANCE
At the selection dance on 9th March Molly
Walsh was crowned Miss Ramsgate 2007/8. Kristina Williams and
Megan Louise Duddy were selected from 9 other hopefuls to
complete the Court.
All 10 entrants for the selection were of an extremely
high standard, which caused the judges a difficult task in
choosing the Court.
Miss Ramsgate and Court 2006/7 give their
farewell speeches, but not without some tears.
